How Spec. Reporter Pro works

Spec. Reporter Pro is QC tracking and reporting software for ICP spectroscopy. Analysts import a run, confirm sample types, lock reports, and keep a tracker of results against label claims. It runs locally in Chrome or Edge. Your data is not uploaded. The tracker is part of Pro; a reporter-only license is planned.

What is in the app

• Import Excel from the instrument or paste from the run. Wavelength mode: strongest line or average all lines.
• Sample Types and Label Claims catalog — you add the specs; none are preset.
• Master report template with logo and layout applied to every report in the batch.
• Lock and finalize after review. Export Word or PDF, separate or combined, plus raw Excel.
• QC tracker (Pro): commit results and chart history against claim, warning, and limit bands.
• Analyst and admin users, activity log, full backup/restore, and auto-backup on Chrome or Edge.
• In-app update check, bug reports, and terms. License key per organization from ICP Report LLC.

Currently supports Agilent 5800 with ICP Expert. More makes and models are being added — Spec. Reporter is built around spectroscopy, not a single manufacturer. Spec. Reporter Pro is a tracking and reporting aid for qualified laboratory personnel. It does not certify methods or replace review of results before release.

Install

Open Spec. Reporter Pro in Chrome or Edge over HTTPS. Do not open the files from disk — license activation and bug reports need a real https:// origin. After you receive a key, paste it in the app, accept Terms, create your admin user, and turn on backup.
